re: how to change font size when printing from a web page

Os Win7 home 32bit. Printing on a HP Photosmart B209. When I print a web page, lets say a printout, of my current checking account active. The font on the screen is around size 14 which is good enough for me to read. The font size on the printout (other then the header line) is around size 8 or smaller. How do I make the printed font bigger without coping the words on the web page to MS Word then printing the page from MS Word.

The way I do it is copy and paste to Note Pad and then set the font size and print.

Sometimes I send it to Jarte Plus and print from there.

Layback Bear. That's what I do now. I past the doc from the browser to MS Word then print it. Like today I needed a printout from Paypal to take to my bank. I didn't have the time to copy it to MS Word, change the font size then print the doc. I had to walk from my apt (in a big complex) to the bus stop in time to catch the bus. About a 5 to 7 minute walk.

What happens if you use Print Preview then scale it larger than 100%. Not sure if that affects only the display or if it will affect print as well.

Haven't tried it in a long time but I believe when Print Preview of a web page you get everything including all the adds and such not just the desired text.

I do the same thing only I use Word. It has more flexibility for cleaning up the original.
