I'm perfectly willing to entertain the idea that it may have been virus, especially since Windows 7 seems to be particularly vulnerable to such attacks (first virus sweep always catches 5-6 viruses/trojans without going online except to download the AV software), I'm just saying that a fresh, updated install of Windows 7 had the fold options access, then that was gone after installing AVG 8. The same is not true of Avast, at least at this point. Now, AVG may not be the cause, but you'd have to admit that it is one heck of a coincidence…
