windows explorer crash when right clicking on ANY int or ext HD

    Hello,

Novice hear, pls bear with me.
A few days ago a partitioned (internal drive) became full
I then moved this data onto a external drive.
Maybe this is all irrelevant information but during or after I moved the data for some reason any time I right click to expand, or view properites on any intenal or external hdd label windows explorer crashes and needs to restart.
I note there are similar problems to mine on the forum but none of the fixes help.
Bizzarely and perhaps completely unconnected to this one external hard drive lost all its data - even though the disk was showing full no files or folders could be seen.
I've run all kinds of malware and antivirus scans with no issues.
At a loss here and dont want to format this machine if at all avoidable.
first I've looked at the reliablity file and the shell32 file showed as fault module name, but I understand from other forums that this is likely caused by another third party file. Anyhow I've copied the latest crash dump files - one of many and would value any suggestions to solve this.
    Thanks

Does this happen with that problem external removed too?

Try a clean startup - Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

If not, get CCleaner - Tools - Startup - Context Menu - save to text file or screenshot (to later see what was enabled/disabled) and disable everything. Restart PC just in case.

If the issue clears, enable one by one until you find the culprit. (Just one among many; once I had issue with Spybot S&D explorer integration module, had to disable it, still is disabled)

Thanks! your second suggestion worked. Indeed it was spybot causing the problem for me 'sdecon 64 &32 dll' files which are now both disable.
    Really appreciate your help

Joined just to say thank you GoKAy.

Bought a 3tb Fantom drive but wanted to get it inside my PC. AFter putting it in it would not recognize it but I figured out how to format it easily. Then randomly I started right clicking my HDD drives but it would crash explorer.

Disabling spy bot SnD on context menu immediately solved my issue. I have no spyware/malware as I use a specially made bootable thumb drive to scan everything once a month.
