Alright... I'm back. Nothing has changed regarding my computer.
I have not called anyone as of yet. But it is under consideration.
No, I do not have anything like that. Even if I did, it's likely I wouldn't know what to do with it anyway.
Right now, my computer is stuck on it's Last Known Good settings. Which, in all honesty, suck. And the computer has, for reasons unknown, forgotten what an internet is. There are no networks available.
What security software are you running? Anti-virus/firewall/anti-malware and similar? Try uninstalling them.
I have AVG, and Malwarebytes. But I'm a bit hesitant with uninstalling them as, at this point in time, I will not be able to get them back, as I'm unable to access the internet on the computer.
Again, as I've mentioned before : Even when I turn on with Safe Mode with Network, the computer has no internet access.
I am hoping to somehow regain the internet access. That way, I could hopefully attach that file from that scan I did before.
AVG may be stopping Internet. MBAM not so much. I understand your hesitation but do uninstall AVG. It shouldn't be a problem since you can't access Internet with that PC anywayThere are ways to get an offline installer by the way.
Hang on. I don't want to go and remove AVG just yet.
The little Wireless Network icon does not show up. When I go and look through Network and Internet, it says that Windows did not detect any networking hardware.
I want to try and see how things go over first, before I try uninstalling AVG.
And again : If there is ANY way to reverse the effects of Last Known Good Configuration.
Is there ANYTHING I should try first, before I resort to removing AVG?

If no hardware is detected, check devmgmt.msc for network adapters. Any issues (yellow exclamation or similar) or unknown devices?
Then check Network and Sharing Center - Change adapter settings - see if wireless is disabled
Hmm, Last Known Good Configuration is a normal mode - just the settings that successfully logged in/off last time it happened.
Maybe you are in Safe Mode? That would mean no internet indeed. It would say Safe Mode in 4 corners if so. Safe Mode with Networking can access network/Internet.
Does it auto-start in Safe Mode or are you selecting it?
See if Option 3 - Step 6 help you get out of it? Safe Mode
yes, same problem. my computer is Dell laptop, i recently upgraded it to Windows 10. i never imagined to come across this problem. i tried to reboot, my laptop then stuck in reboot loop.
Hey, I'm back again.
I had decided to take the computer someplace. I apologize for jumping to conclusions, I just wasn't entirely certain of myself...
From what I have been told, there were some corrupted files, and they had to sort of wipe the computer.
I'm in the process of re-downloading some of my programs(mostly games and stuff), but so far, things seem to be functioning normally now.
But I must admit, I am a tad disheartened. What happens if my computer freezes up again like it did before?
... I guess I'll worry about that should the issue start up again.
In the meantime, shall I mark the thread as solved?
