    No g2ldr --- arghhhh

I have an odd problem, I didn't install any new hardware or software, one day after rebooting the computer would not boot, instead I get a No g2ldr error.

The computer was running Windows 7 Home Edition and the only answer I've found was to use NeoSmart, anyone have any suggestions ? I don't have the original Windows 7 Home edition discs nor do I have a rescue disc.

Why this happened is beyond me, I know the HDD on the computer was not performing well but it still was working.

Have a look at this website. There is a link under the Windows Vista, 7, 8, & 8.1 section for getting Easy Recovery Essentials for Windows that might work for you. It looks like you will have to pay for it though.

No other PC around (second one at home, friend, neighbor) with a Win 7 machine to create a Repair Disk? Having the same bit (32 or 64) is enough. It would be best to first try a startup repair - Startup Repair. By the way does it not even load Advanced Boot Options (F8 menu)?

If these fail, you could try Lazesoft Recovery Suite - Windows Recovery, Password Recovery, Data Recovery, System Recovery for Windows XP VISTA 7 8 2003 2008, Free for Home User. But which option to chose is beyond me.

No one I know has Windows7 repair disc, my other PC is Windows10. I'll try the second option.

I upgraded the problem from a No g2ldr to 0xc0000034. Anyone have or can create a Windows 7 Home Repair / Recovery disc ?

I don't have Windows7 installed to create a Windows7 repair disc; I created one within Windows10, that is not working.

That won't work. Did Lazesoft recovery not help? It has many fixes available within.
