actually when I launch any of the file it opens in their respective default program.
My problem is only with the icons.
I have Re-installed the Winrar and Media Player Classic so the problem is fixed for the RAR files and video files.
Now how can I fix it for .JPG, .Bmp i.e Image files.

How can i Reinstall "Windows Photo viewer".
Thanks

Icon Cache - Rebuild?

I would think a System Restore to a date prior to the issue should fix it - System Restore
