issues with Windows Media Player, v.12

I recently switched from Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate, which came with Windows Media Player, version 12. I'm now trying to update & organize my WMP library & have noticed that I can no longer manually add album art: the right-click option, "paste album art", is no longer available as of 2 hours ago! I tried restarting the computer, but that didn't't help. How can I get this option back?

About all you can do is go to left side window in Media player and choose "album" then right click on the album and choose "find album info", a new window will pop up, then look for the album on the list or you can refine the search, when you find the correct album click on it and choose next then next again and finish. It works pretty well once you get the hang of it.

I can't find the paste album art anywhere.

Thank you, but I'm referring more to compilation CDs that I've made, so there is no "correct album" to choose from. For these, I had always been able to manually add whatever image I wanted. There used to be a paste album art" option in addition to "find album info" & "update album info"... Does anyone know if this feature will be restored?

Many thanks. I tried what you suggested (copied an image & right-clicked on the appropriate album) & the "paste album art" suddenly was an option again! Not the most intuitive (I think), but I'm glad to have this small, but helpful feature available again. Glad you figured it out!
