    Hiya and welcome to SevenForums!

I've always used Hiren's Boot CD to delete my forgotten passwords. It's very simple, you burn a copy of Hirens onto a USB/DVD, load it, go to Mini Windows XP, go to the HBCD menu, go to Password/Keys, Windows Login and then you choose NTPWEdit.

Now you can click reopen and all the users will show, pick your user and click Change Password, leave the password fields blank if you want to reset or a new password.
