Mouse pointer jumps around only on start-up
I share my desktop (Windows 7) with my partner. However, my mouse, which is plugged in to my computer and is a Logitech US Laser Mouse, jumps around when I start up my desktop or when my partner and I need to change access. To stop the mouse jumping, I have had to adjust the mouse settings daily.
I have tried different mouse units but without any luck. However, when I go to:
Devices and Printers USB Laser Mouse right click, Mouse Settings Hardwarethere seems to be two devices showing. I am wondering if this is causing my computer some confusion on start up. The two settings are:
HID-Complaint mouse - mice and other point devices USB Input Device - Human Interface deviceShould one or other be deleted, so my computer is not confused or in conflict on start-up? I am not sure which setting applies to my Logitech corded mouse.
Thank you for any assistance.
