Windows 7 - Preview function not working

I am having a problem with the preview function not working correctly. I happened to have Outlook open along with two IE8 sessions. One session was running a Fancast video and the other session was open to Amazon. While I was in Outlook, I moved the mouse over to the IE icon in the quick launch area and the two IE windows showed their respective previews. Each time I tried to make the Fancast window become active, it would not stay up. I then tested this out with Outlook being open and then trying to switch to the sevenforums.com page. I was able to get this to work without any problems.

Any idea why I can't switch to Fancast from Outlook?

Did you move the mouse over and click on the preview?

I'm not seeing anything labeled preview. The thing is, if I hold the mouse over the window, I can switch back and forth between outlook and any other window EXCEPT fancast. I don't know if this makes any difference, but the window with Fancast was actively playing a video.

I can tell by looking at the icon in the quick launch area that there is more than one IE window open. When I move the mouse over to the IE icon, the preview windows expand. The window with the Fancast video won't stay open.

Probably the program does not support it. You might try some of the other options for taskbar buttons in the Task Bar properties.

Does this happen with it paused?
