HARD DRIVE RENAMED - blue desktop screen, cannot run system files
Good day,
I was cloning my x230t hard disk with windows 7 os to an mSSD.
So after cloning, I was trying to rename my existing HDD from C: to B: so i can rename my newly cloned mSATA to C:. BUT i just realized that the C: i was renaming in the registry editor was the cloned mSATA. I think windows automatically changed the drive name to C; when the old HDD file was formated in the disk manager. So my supposed to be drive C: was renamed to B: in the **registry editor** (**\DosDevices\C:** to **\DosDevices\B:**).
So when i rebooted my PC, all i get is a blank blue screen with nothing in it. I managed to to run explorer through the task manager, but unfortunately, I'm stuck. I can't even open My Computer or even run command prompt as an administrator.
I really hope someone can help me solve this problem, since i cannot even recover my windows 7 license number because i cannot run anything on my laptop.
Thanks in advance.
