How to switch users at login screen when "Switch User" is missing

    Hello,

I've searched the forum and could not find an answer to this problem.

I have a Windows 7 Enterprise machine where at the login screen the "Switch User" button is missing and so I am unable to clear the last user.

Just about all the results I got back on this topic was how to re-enable the "Switch User". This doesn't help because I can't login to make the change. :)

    TIA!

I see you have Windows 7 Enterprise.
Do you have a I.T. department you can get assistance from?

If you boot to Safe Mode, can you login there.
What happens if you press Ctrl+Alt+Del on the login screen?

There is no CTRL-ALT-DEL at the login screen. It just shows the user name and the [Right Arrow]. The "Switch User" is missing, which I can fix/restore if I can log into the machine.

What if you enabled the hidden Administrator account? Then when you get to the logn screen you should see a choice of accounts?
