Help Needed Messing Up Bios
I have onboard video in my system. I just purchased a PCI Express card with 512 MB and installed it to get ready for Win7. I did not do anything to disable the onboard video as I figured that would be done automatically. I just ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor again and it still says my card does not meet Win7 specifications. I was thinking that I might need to disable the onboard in the Bios. The only thing I see in there is under "PCI/PnP Setup". Under "Init Display First" there are two options. A "PCI" and a "PCI Express". It is set on PCI. Since my card is in the PCI Express slot, would this be the option I would need to change to make my system recognize the video card under the Win7 Upgrade Advisor? If I am completely off base with this, please straighten me out.
