    Time to activate

Well its time to activate Windows 7, here is my question: I received the WIndows 7 Ultimate 7600, how ever I did not get an activation key. Now I need the key or in 2 days I must re-arm. So if I purchase Windows 7, what version do I get, then do I need to re-install or can I just activate the version I have running on my pc?

    Hey stranger

If you get win 7 you need the same version (ie ultimate) you dont need full. If thats the case all you do is input the key.

Nah, no luck here. I did purchase the Home upgrade and installed it over ultimate using the custom install. Worked smooth as silk. No hang ups, no driver issues and I put all the peripherals back, printers, scanners blu drives, itunes. No problems.
