IF you have not used this utility before then be advised, have a cuppa tea, as it will restart the comp and cleanup masses of files.

Also, be advised that you should not just start the Disk Cleanup program and let it clean up everything without checking what it wants to clear out first.

Casion, you're correct! Even though Windows Disk Cleaner is pretty safe to use, there are some choices that a user might not want to click yes to -- Game records, MRU stuff, etc. I did that once, and all my remembered Windows Explorer settings such as display sizes, View as List, etc. -- alll went away. Lemmie add this: endusers should check all the click boxes pre-checkmarked by any/all 3rd party disk cleaners, and UNcheckmark the things to save.
** Registry cleaners are a whole different ball-game! That is for another thread **

"Empty Recycle Bin"-button gone from toolbar
I used to have a very handy "Prullenbak Leegmaken"-button (Empty Recycle Bin). You can see it in the attachment. Does anybody know how to restore that button? Futhermore, could CCleaner be the cause of it's removal? Thanks in advance!

Hi, how can I change this? Some background - this may not be the issue I need to solve at the end of the day: I believe the location is causing crashes, since I blew up lots of Library registry values (in an attempt to remove them from the OS), and I think it defaults to the library page....
