When booting Windows it stays loading for about 5 min and then BSOD

    Hello!

I have a problem with booting Win 7. When I start my computer, the Win 7 "Starting Windows" is loading. It does it for about 5 min and then comes BSOD and computer restarts. I have tried startup repair, but there it doesn't show any partition just says "unknown disk". When trying to boot in safe mode, computer freezes when loading avgidsha.sys. So I'm thinking it's a problem with AVG. I've tried using AVG rescue disk, but it stops on mounting partition or smth. I really need some help, because I'm out of ideas. Maybe I need to uninstall AVG somehow, but don't know how to do it when booting. Or maybe my hard drive is out of luck.

    My Laptop is:
    Acer V17 nitro running Win7 64-bit

About three months ago I had pretty much the same problem with my laptop. I took out the HDD and inserted an old one and it booted. My HDD had died. I was just lucky and had another HDD to install. I don't think it is AVE, it sounds to me that your HDD is gone. Wish I had another solution for you. Hang around, someone else might see your post and have other information.
