Changed settings changed everything

As usually, I was trying to change some settings to make larger/darker text and better color. I kept messing with all of that. Every time you click it takes you to another adjustment. Now I don't know what all I changed, but ll of my application are changed and ugly.

My Google search screen no longer has a search button. Just says click enter.
My Yahoo mail is all spread out and pale
My EBAY has small printing and formatting is different

UGH

Do you know what the default font name and size would have been? Maybe if I put it back.

I agree with oscer1, a restore point would be my first choice.

Read this tutorial by Brink. It should give you the guidance if needed.

Changed settings, changed everything

What a great idea you guys. Scary though. I've spent hours trying to change things back. What a waste of time. I just hope the restore won't make me lose the auctions I've posted on EBAY. Oh well, A small price to pay......hahaha.

Here goes. I will post after.

Restore Points only changes the computer it's use on and nothing else. What is on the web stay on the web.

I updated my Window 7 Ultimate today, and now when my computer reboots, it stops at the login screen. It used to just boot into my desktop and bypass the login screen. This is annoying because I use my tablet's wifi to check on and access things on my computer. If I have to go back to the desk to...

IE 11 Settings Changed After This Patch Tuesday ?
I noticed two changes that were made to my desktop's IE 11 browser after this patch Tuesday's updates (which is the only thing that has changed that I can think of). First, I had a separate row for the IE11 title bar on top, followed underneath with a row for all the open tabs. This changed to...

My laptop wasn't running games as it should so instead of troubleshooting the problems we decided to do a clean install of windows 7. None of the drives would show up so we looked it up and used the driver cd that came with the laptop and they weren't on the disk. then we tried to boot from the OS...

My folder view settings have changed. How do I put them back?
I recently installed an old game. I'm running Win 7 Pro x64 and the game was for XP. I messed with the compatibility settings and I think something went wrong. The folder icons have changed everywhere but on the desktop. The desktop shows the regular aero styled icons. Everywhere else the folder...

Changed msconfig settings, now I can't enter Windows
Hi. I was changing some settings in msconfig yesterday. The parameters I changed is: Timeout: 0 No GUI boot: Checked Number of processors: 8 (I think this was unnecessary since it's already booting up using all cores/threads. But it shouldn't cause a error even if I changed it manually. ...
