Hi,
Uninstall ie11 and shut down the machine/ restart and recheck for updates.

Hi,
Okay so no updates have been loaded at all :/
I would make sure this machine has been activated
Click start and right click the computer listing and click on Properties
On the very bottom see what it says.

Appreciate the advice Ztruker... Just tried resetting WU and still no luck.

I'm not trying to hijack OP's thread but I posted my original here Cannot install Windows Updates & error 0xc8000247 while running SURT and wasn't getting any responses. Not sure how to proceed. I attached a SURT log on my original post if that helps any.

It has been activated. I am on a different computer right now. The problem computer is setup in my office and I'm trying to get it working for an enduser.

Hello. I can't check for Windows 7 Updates. I get an error saying that the service isn't running, even when it is (I checked services.msc). I tried running SURT, but I get an error 0xc8000247. I tried sfc /scannow, didn't work. CBS logs are attached. Thanks.

I have reformatted a PC with windows XP home SP2 on it. Also has IE 6, and I can't get download Windows updates. I get the message, "The website has encounted a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view..." I tried to upgrade IExplorer but having a hard time.
