Thumbnails Problem

    Thumbnails Problem


    And all of a sudden all the pictures & videos thumbnail Disappeared

    Though .ico's are fine

    No clue why..

    btw I did searched forum bit, but frustratingly ended up making this post. If its already being discussed/solved then please post that link here. Thanks

    Not sure...did you install any program that might have taken over those file extensions?

    No not really, everything was fine and suddenly this, Tried to check Group Policy thingy aswell but everything seems fine.. not sure what has got into thumbnails and nailed em like this :-/

    Have you tried to restore defaults?

    Have you tried to clear icon cache?

    Just a thought...

    Have you tried going into Control Panel/Programs/Default Programs/Associate a file type or protocol with a program?

    Just scroll down the list till you find your image files, like .jpg to check what it's Current Default is. Standard default for Win7 is Windows Photo Viewer.

    Welcome to 7 Forums, Taurus.

    You could try a system restore to before this happened. Info here if needed. System Restore

    Have you played with any settings. Folder options > view tab > make sure 'Always show icons' is unchecked.

    Hope this helps.
