Unfortunately my skills are ultra limited and testing the PSU would be way beyond me, so unless I found a good friend, I'd have to pay a pro. Nothing against pro help, but with computer close to its 5th anniversary, and with its spec, how economic would that be?

Yes, interesting! I guess at mine is a 64 bit system, that should be my choice. As you will know from my previous post, my skill and knowledge is limited. Which voltages would be those to monitor in my case?

@ all. I've heard Dell use non standard parts. I fear that might be a problem with replacements.

I use this tool to monitor my Network Connection, CPU, RAM, HDD and temperatures for use in Displays I create with Rainmeter. My experience to determine proper voltages is probably well below yours. I offered a link as I knew it displayed voltages. I wish I had more knowledge of these things that would help.

Having said that, If it were me I'd be watching the minimum and average voltages for something dropping way down. Not very scientific but it's what I would do. Unfortunately HWiNFO will lose all data on a reboot.

Perhaps someone with way more experience then both of us combined will step in and offer some suggestions.
