This shows again that dragging is not a good technique. Rather use copy or move to.

Add Copy To / Move To on Windows 7 or Vista Right-Click Menu

This does not only work in Vista but all others too.

Dose anyone know why the contents of the Intel folder don't turn up in a search?

That why I thought I lost them

I take it you found them. Now would be a good time to back them up or at the very least copy them to a safe place off your HDD.
