More dual booting fun! Today 10 is intalled first and I want to add 7.

Hey Guys! I decided that with all of windows 10's fine features and all, I still miss windows 7 terribly and all the games that worked on it. So a solution is to buy yet another windows 7 disk and do another dual boot.

Windows 10 came pre installed on this machine so I understand that I am trying to set this up the hard way....as usual...

First question: is it worth trying to install 7 when 10 was installed first or should I blow it away then install 7 and reinstall 10.

Second question: All touchscreen things will still work?

Last thing: Last time I downgraded an os I had a fun time trying to find drivers that were only compatible with windows 8 thus installing drivers that were often times intended for other hardware. Will my computer have drivers for all of my stuff?

PC wizard apparently doesn't run on ten so here are specs from device manager.
    Specs: HP Notebook 15-ac121dx
    cpu: intel i3-5010u
    Ram: 6 gig of somethin
    Graphics:Intel HD 5500
Touchscreen: dosen't say, looks like a standard windows driver.
Lan: Realtek PCIe FE family adapter
    Wlan: Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 BGN Wi-Fi Adapter
    Tap-windows adapter? What that?
The rest of the drivers such as mouse, webcam, sound im pretty sure I can find on my own without much trouble.

    Thanks.

You should install 7 on a separate drive, with the 10 drive unplugged.

Then use the boot menu key to launch the boot menu, then chose the drive with 7 when you want to use it.

Of course you`re gonna set the drive you want to go into automatically as default.

Keep the drives separated like that, you should never have an issue.

You biggest stumbling block will be installing 7 on that motherboard.

Let us know how you make out :)

My personal advice, do not even fool with the 10 drive, disconnect it b4 you attempt any of this.

Don`t want you coming back later with an "I can`t boot into my PC thread"

And I highly rcommend asking this same question at Tenforums.

Yep I'd also suggest turning win-10's fast start off first
