    windows hangs up after start


    hi everyone. help me out if u can.


    after starting windows 7. it hangs up at hp logo. none of the keys work(after hanging). if any kep pressed it gives a beep sound. im using hp dv6 1161tx model.

    kindly help asap.

    Try the troubleshooting tips on the HP support page:

    HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does not Start (Windows 7, Vista, XP) | HP® Customer Support

    Make sure to do a hard reset first. That might solve your problem.

    Have you done any BIOS or driver upgrades just before this started happening?
