Windows keep selecting and deselecting themselves

If I have multiple windows open, e.g I have internet explorer, normal explorer and an app running. Two of them are minimised and I'm typing on internet explorer window. The internet explorer window will keep going off highlight as if I've selected the app or explorer, leave it a few seconds then it highlights the internet explorer window again, then deselects it etc etc

I've tried a complete scan with Malware Bytes incase this is malware but it's not finding anything. Has anyone else experienced this?

Could be a feature and not a problem. You may have paid for this
The lower right of the screen. You will see a very small and faint tranparent box. If you put your cursor there, you can see your desktop. It shows your desktop. It is a way to get quick access to your desktop. Is that it.
You can turn it off by right clicking it and untick

    Note
Look very hard the box is there, very small and in the right corner.

This hasn't nailed it Still getting the problem. Have tried shutting down as many processes as possible but none seem to make a difference. Googling the problem, I see that lots of people are experiencing this issue

This Just to wrap this up, I waited until it was happening and then ran a full scan of Spybot on my system drive. This came up with a list of all issues happening, I clicked "fix all" and the problem immediately stopped and hasn't returned. Malware strikes again!

I have started to get this issue, run ESET Nod32 software for antivirus, also ran spybot, found a number of issues, fixed them but the problem still exists although it is not as bad as it was.

I have followed the previous posts regarding the show desktop panel in the bottom right.

Has anyone else still got this problem after following these suggestions and has anyone else done something in addition and fixed the problem.

Apparently a full scan of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware app will also fix the issue, it must be a full scan with the latest updates though.

I've seen this issue all over the net and the only sucess stories I've seen are using anti malware software to cure the issue.

The unfortunate part of this is that there's a lot of variants of the Malware....as usual meaning that there's no one clear answer that will definitely sort it.

Spybot definitely worked for me, Malwarebytes has worked for several other people.

One thing is for sure, this isn't just an incorrect setting on Win7. Nothing this infuriatingly annoying could be just a random setting....

I have the same problem, I use eset nod32 which hasnt let anything through, got malware installed and ran it, found 1 thing but didnt resolve the problem, tried spybot also still got a pc with a mind of its own, this problem seems to have developed with updates prior to the 14th unfortunately I have no earlier restore points so am thinking of reinstalling win 7, o what joy.

Hopefully someone will come up with an answer soon as I am pulling my hair out.

    Thanks

does anyone run a program that shuts off the computer automatically after a certain amount of time has gone by. We are using Faronics and we believe that it shuts down the computer without stopping all the processes first and may cause some hickups. Because we are experiencing this also but when i go to the services and stop the (Faronics)System profile Service, the seem to not pop in and out as much as they did, but my CPU Ussage is maxxing out at 96% when just sitting there. Also if i look at PID of the Sys Pro Ser it keep changing. Our current Protection Service is Sophos and i have ran Malware Bytes and also ESET and still nis showing any furhints or clueto this issue is greatly apreciated. Thanks.
