    Extraction error

    Hi to all !
I have win7 Professional and win 10 as dual boot. Using win7, i cannot extract any downloaded file, eg a .exe NVIDIA driver. I tried in win10 the same file that i downloaded in win7 and no problem at all, so it seems that the problem is not a corrupted download, but a faulty extraction. Any idea please?

If it's a zip file, instyall 7-zip and see if that works for you.

The problem happens in .exe self-extracted files and a message "7-zip error" appears, although I have only winrar installed.
The same file in win 10 runs ok.

An nvidia driver is not a zip file, you should be able to click on it and it should just run.

Do you have GeForce Experience installed, let that download the driver and install it, it works perfectly every time.

Is your Windows 7 PC fully updated ?

Did you install 7 Zip ?

    7-Zip

Get rid of Winrar if you don`t need it, hardly anyone uploads rar files anymore.

7-Zip: Data Error while installing NVIDIA drivers

After downloading drivers upon install I get a "Non 7-zip archive" error message.
