    I still can't autologon to windows 7


    i have carefully tried

    netplwiz

    modified registry as per tutorial

    i am administrator and only user

    win 7 pro clean install on Hp Laptop Probook 4540s

    no driver bangs

    barebones setup

    please help

    So, no password, correct ?

    And you still get the logon screen at bootup ?

    Do you have Don`t require a password in Power Options>System settings ?
