    Windows stuck in classic mode

    Hello.
Today, around 10-30 minutes ago, my power suddenly went off then came back while I was on my PC.
I turned it on again, but noticed that it is stuck in classic mode.
The theme service is running in automatic mode.
Now here's the interesting part, I tried going to Control Panel > System and protections > System and then going to Advanced System Settings. I went to the Performance settings, and noticed the "Use visual styles on windows and buttons" and "Enable desktop themes" boxes were unchecked. I checked both, clicked Apply and then exited the settings. However, it still didn't enable back. I went to the settings again and saw that the boxes unchecked themselves.
    This is very weird.
I request help, if my system specs are needed, i'll provide them in a reply.

Do you have a restore point from before the glitch?

Power glitches are tricky because it is not easy to tell what got corrupted, if anything. A good idea to get some kind of UPS. Also for now it may be worth opening an elevated command prompt and running:
    sfc /SCANNOW

if the restore point is not there or does not resolve it.

After doing what MilesAhead has suggested could you check and make sure your boot options haven't changed.

    Hello.
Today I turned on my computer, and the theme was back to normal.
    Still, thanks for your help.
