    Logon stopped working and I get this messsage. HELP!


    The User Profile Service failed the logon.

    User Profile can not be loaded.



    This is after I enter the password and hit enter. This is on my daughters HP laptop.

    I can not get past the login screen to see a start or search menu. No OEM DVD came with this HP pavilion g series. I have no retail DVD, nor have and backup or restore DVD.

    Anything I can do?
