How to delete files and folders not found?

I keep getting these, try to delete them, says cannot find file, but yet, there it is, in the folder. I have two folders that have similar files in them, win7 refuses to delete them, even in safe mode. I end up hiding the folders so I dont have to look at them all the time. How do I fix this crap?

    Thanks

That worked great, thanks. But I cant believe I need to buy a third party proggie to fix this. Not that I needed to buy it this time, but I deleted two files now, and it's only good for 3 under trial. I don't see this as something that's going to just "stop happening", seeing as I have only been running this install for 3 weeks and it has happened 2x already.

you can also try unlocker UNLOCKER 1.8.8 BY CEDRICK 'NITCH' COLLOMB
But I don't think it works on x64, however, on their site is a list of similar programs and comparisons between them.

it looks like that's from a torrent file. are you still downloading the torrent or seeding?

when I use uTorrent, after the download has finished I delete them from seeding, then I empty the recycle bin and a file similar to yours is usually in there and is deleted.

Last time this happened to me I had to pop in an Ubuntu live CD to get rid of the damn folder.

It was a torrent file, which I deleted after torrent was finished. It was still there until I got it deleted by using the proggie recommended (was there for weeks). It has happened twice now, with diff files, both times I just ended up making the folder hidden so I wouldnt have to look at them anymore. Until now that is. This is a stupid ass problem, and MS must know bout it, but will they do ANYthing considering all the 3rd party proggies made to clean up after windows. I think they are all in bed together. ;p

    You can always try Killbox:

    Download KillBox

Unzip the folder to your desktop.

    Start Killbox.exe

When it is open, enter <insert file here> into the field labeled "Full path of file to delete".

Select the Delete on reboot option.

Then press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it.

Your computer will reboot and check to see if the file is gone.
