I installed several programs on my computer. I restarted it several times and “Startup repair” showed during the last restart. So when the computer turned on some of the programs were uninstalled! Is this possible? And how can I fix it? I can’t install these programs every time L
Try reinstalling the programs one by one, restarting each time, and see if the problem reoccurs. If it does, take note of what program it was.
Well, I am not sure...I suppose it was a "Flextype".
First I had problems with subtitles showing some symbols. I downloaded codecs for windows 7 and installed them. It didn't make a change. Then I installed "Flextype" and the problems began. After restarting,this programm was gone and then I decided to install it again. The next restart was the same: Startup repair and "Flextype" was gone and "Kaspersky" too.
In the end after several "Startup repair"-s my computer just blocked and didn't want to start. Then I went to System Recovery options and Windows Copmplete PC Restore and restored fabric settings.
After that everything was ok. I didn’t install Flextype again because there were settings for language in “Region and language”. The subtites were ok too. So I reinstalled the programs one by one, restarting each time as You have said.
I am not good at computers but this happens to me for the first time!
I must admit that Windows 7 is new for me so I rely on your help. Thanks again!
