    Icon picture missing


    New PC build. OS Win 7. Some of my icons on my desktop are missing there true "icon" picture. See attachment. As this one is a red box. Want to know why the red box icon is not showing. Thanks.

    Just a little nervous on deleting this file. It's ok to delete and reboot? Thanks....

    Yes, it is safe to delete. It will get recreated with a new one.

I downloaded some games, afterward i noticed couple of my old games icon picture on desktop is gone. When i right clicked on properties i can still see the picture in the upper left of the property window. Any ideas?
Hey, I've been coming to this forum for a while now since I set up my Windows 7 system, the tutorials here are fantastic, and have helped me customized Windows 7 just the way I want it! :) except just after the last couple of days, I noticed that a few of the icons in the start menu were...
i got on the pc this morning and noticed that where i have the picture saved on the desktop it was just black so i went into where my pictures are saved and there missing ?? but when i double click on one it will show any ideas please im lost on this ??
I think installed and then uninstalled it for some reason. After I installed it again.. there's no image for RAR files. It's only display that white icon with a window in it. How do I get the original RAR icon back?
Is there some setting I can change to have both icons showing when I try to move a .jpg with the same file name into a folder that already has a .jpg by the same file name? In vista, it used to show both the new picture and a picture in the destination folder that had the same file name. Thanks. ...
