Inbox Repair Tool

A problem started with a security update a few days ago. It took out my Outlook 2007 calendar and I am getting an Error (0X8B240600) It says that errors have been detected in my Outlook.pst files. I found scanpst and it wants to know what files to scan. I can't find any .pst files.

They should be in users/username/appdata/local/microsoft/outlook

Appdata may be hidden so you have to make sure the option to show hidden files is checked in folder options, view.

Thanks for your help. You are lifesavers. The key was undoing hidden files as I was able to find the scan tool and identify the Outlook.pst to scan. It fixed everything. How RSS caused all of these problems is still a mystery. I have never ever used RSS. In any event, my calendar is back and as for now Windows 7 and Office 2007 are getting along.

Thanks again,

Art
