I don't think you're lacking of CPU speed, RAM, or graphics hardware whatsoever.

I would suggest you do a Windows Update, see if it finds any driver updates for you Graphics Card and install them.

    Welcome to the forums, btw

Try something simple like doing disk clean-up then disk defragmentor :)

I had a simular problem when first using it, and my first system was a old computer with Windows ME (yuck) so I got used to defraging, anyways it helped me so try that ^_^

It's probably normal. Superfetch and Indexing kind of make the system lag sometimes at the very beginning. It probably will speed up after a while. You could also set your power options to High Performance instead of Balanced.

Here is a tutorial for speeding things up, it's for Vista but many still apply to 7.

Now when the windows boot the welcome massage stays for almost 15 seconds then my desktop appears ..I really don't know why it's slow in booting like that

the only programs i installed is Nod32 antivirus and MSN live messenger ..

Do you think these 2 programs takes 15 sec to be loaded ! ( am 3 Mb cash)

    Am disappointed

Did you upgrade? Or clean install?

Clean Install = Format C: drive to put Win 7

Upgrade = Install Win 7 from inside XP/Vista

If you upgraded, there might be some problems, I guess! In that case, backup and do a clean install.

If it is a Clean Install, then I suggest you run Windows Disk Defragmenter atleast once a week!

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!
