Reverse Win 10 Compact

So I compressed some files using the windows 10 compact.exe command and forgot to uncompact them before downgrading back to windows 7 is there anyway I can fix these files. I tried the obvious and grabbed a windows 10 version of compact and that just wouldn't work on win 7. Anybody got any suggestions.

Load Win 10 in a VM, decompress, save to a Win 7 accessable drive (hd, flash, etc) then blow away the VM.

Mystery with my Compact Flash
Background: Needed to pull the pictures off my Sony A350 DSLR camera. This camera takes a compact flash card & I currently use a 8 GB one. Out of curiousity, I decided to check how much space I have left on it. I don't take a lot of pictures so I thought I would have plenty of space. Wrong, nearly...

Evening folks... A little helpful info for the folks with the Compact Wireless-G USB Adapter... Stay with 4.0.3.0 instead of the 4.0.8.0 driver as the later will fault as in no connection after you fall into sleep mode and come back out... other wise it works great... tested this twice and...
