windows explorer right click folder history

when an explorer browser is open, the little folder icon shows up on the task bar, fine. but when you right click the icon it gives you a few options and all of your recently visited folders in a list above the icon. i dislike this. is there a way to stop it from displaying the recent folders?

please and thanks,

kyle

Hi Kyle,

Right click on your taskbar and go to the start menu tab, and uncheck this, Apply/ok, to disable the jumplists, which is what they're called.
