RSS Feeds I don't want, etc

Greetings:

I have Win7 pro. I like it. Microsoft has tried numerous times to upgrade me to Win10. Irritating.

I have been able to get rid of Win 10 after it has "upgraded" my system to it. However, now my Win 7 has an rss feed that pops up on a regular basis with news. I think it is mainly Yahoo news. I have Outlook 2010, but these RSS feeds occur even if that is closed.

Also, every hour on the hour the computer vocalized the time of day.

Any idea how I can get rid of these things?

Thank you for any input.

Smorton
