Shortcut target paths pointing to wrong drive

    Hi!

I have my OS installed on an SSD (c:) and have most of my programs installed on a separate harddrive (a:). All of my shortcuts in the start menu point to "C:\blablabla" even if the file and start in location is "A:\blablabla". Is this possible to fix?

    Thank you!

If you don't have a floppy drive... Most Never do.. Drive A is designated for the floppy. Just change the drive designation and see if that works... I bet it might..

Are you changing the drive letter when you install the program ? ( I`m sure you are ) so this should not be happening.

Seems you would be if you`ve been doing this for awhile, but Lance`s suggestion will fix the problem.

Just some advice, if I may, all of your programs should be installed on C, that way you can make proper disc images, if not you will be installing the programs again.

The only programs I install from C to another drive are games, that way I only have to reinstall the games on C (only if an image should fail for some reason) and all my game data is still on my game drive, so the game never has to be started all over again.
