Why the snippy stuff? Use what OS you want and be happy with your choice. People staying with 7 are not Luddites. People moving on to 10 are not morons. People opting out altogether and going to Linux are not weirdos. People using several OS's at once are not crazy. Do what you want, be happy, and stop ridiculing or chiding people who have made a different choice. Isn't that what freedom is about?
Thank you! I would rep you if I could. I get sick and tired of the tin foil hat, etc. comments.

AMEN! It's all about choice and personal tastes and preferences.
    And here's another would-be rep+!

I wont see that notice, all machines apart from one are already upgraded and my desktop is not compatible so that wont get the notice. Good luck to all those sticking with 7 but I'll say that 10 is a good OS and you shouldn't be frightened of it, get it while you can for free.
    Agreed!

Well said, I've always said enjoy what you're using, each OS has it's good points and bad points and you'll always have people ranting. The thing is to ignore them and carry on with what you have and put it down to them having a bad day.

I doubt anyone is frightened of win-10 :)
Having both or even more os's is a good thing not a bad thing
Everyone should at least try 10 and I imagine most have and have made their minds up.

A lot of people are frightened by Win 10, including me; I won't bore you with all the reasons. Just the fact I would lose Windows Media Center, some essential gadgets, and possibly some other software is reason enough for me to eschew Win 10. In the case of WMC, there is no need for me to try Win 10 to know I would lose it; that is a well publicized fact.

I thought the expression was bogey man, often mispronounced boogey man.
