| | OEM Installation Since the Win 7 OEM is normally installed on a blank HD, does it give an option to format the HD or should this be done before installing the OEM disk? |

| | the installation will give you the options to format, delete and create partitions |

| | I always format before installing a new OS... there are several third party apps available to do this... Good luck with your install.. |

| | it took me 40 mins lol i had win 7 and i was slow and fed up with slow slow sloe and crashing. so luckily i got OEM version and i just custom install. deleted all partitions and installed Windows 7 on a new partition.  FRESH CLEAN install |

| | Yes you can do all of that during the install but do you not want to keep the data on D ? sorry just a bit confused on that. |
