I would recommend playing around some more with the various font sizes in advanced appearance settings as Brink recommended. For example, I think the font setting under "Icon" controls various things besides just Icons but don't make that one too big. Same with Tool Tip. I find increasing the font sizes of Icon, Tool Tip, and Menu just one or two increments to be helpful in improving the size/appearance of fonts in many different apps (especially Outlook). I prefer doing it that way to using the general DPI setting cause I think it gives better (sharper) results and seems to more selectively make the things I want larger without making everything larger.
