    Admin Rights

Windows 7 keeps giving me messages that I am not an admin user, but I am!
    Why?

I would suppose that would depend on when it is saying that? A user with admin rights is not the same as being logged in as administrator.

Assuming that you are logged in as Admin, I would give the following advice. Possibly your Admin account is corrupt in some way. Open a new Admin account, transfer the settings over and use your new account, that may work.

A little elaboration on your problem maybe in order here.
Are you getting the error when trying to modify system files? Elevating through UAC? etc. etc.

What is the difference? I get the same problem when making certain settings, etc.
