x64 Top Tips

I've just moved to x64 after using x86 exclusively for 2 years (Vista & Windows 7).
Does anyone have any top tips to bear in mind when using x64 on a day-to-day basis?

Make sure your devices have x64 versions?

My advice to you would be, just to enjoy and wait (probably just a couple of years), until 64 will be the norm and you will be all set.

Been using x64 for a little while now (including XP 64) and love it. Windows 7 x64 is fantastic.

The other good thing for me is that it means I can compile my code to x64 only versions if I need to.

In order to compile to x64 versions, do you need to use different data types, like int64? Or does the x64 compiler do all the x64 conversion?
