Ctrl + z

I just learned that this key combo (ctrl+z) is supposed to 'undo' an explorer operation such as moving a file by accident . It does not work for me. How about you?

-thx

really?

Here is how I tested it. I open two different folders and put them side by side. I drag a file from one to the other. I press 'ctrl+z' and nothing happens. The moved file does not return to the original folder. Did I do it wrong?

I suspect it only works on operations performed in a single window. As example, sometimes I rename several selected files and the substitution does not work as I expect. Control z and I am back to the original names.

I tested it by moving a folder from Documents to Downloads.
Checked that it was moved.
CTRL+Z and folder was back in Documents and no longer in Downloads.

Works for me every time. Perhaps a buggy shell extension could interfere?

I use a custom theme from VC. Could this be a factor?
