    Windows 7 wont start


    I have a problem. Windows 7 wont start... i shut down the pc 3 hours ago nothing weird was happening and now when i try to boot it up its says some weird signs instead of Welcome and stays there.
    Any help please

    Your disk may have a failure.
    Boot from the installation disk go to repair - command prompt and run chkdsk c: /f

my normal windows wont help.i have windows 7 32 bit.i turned it off forcefully and now it wont start.and i dont have any back up cds or dvds. is there a way to fix it? or can i just download windows xp? and use that? im in safe mode btw/:cry:
