I have no Hybrid sleep option
I have no Hybrid sleep option. It's supposed to be under Sleep, but it's not there. Any thoughts?

Hello Jonathan,
Do you have hibernate disabled? If not, then your computer (motherboard and/or BIOS) may not support this feature.
No, hibernate is enabled. The funny thing is, though, that I used to have that option. Now it is gone.
Strange. Do you remember if you installed or changed anything before this may have happened?
You might see if doing OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to restore all default power plans may restore it. If not then you might try a repair install to restore if needed.
Power Plan - Restore Default Settings
Okay, I tried both suggestions. I uninstalled a program that I thought might be the culprit, without luck. I tried a Repair Install, to no avail. I am back where I started: I use hibernate regularly, and Hybrid Sleep is nowhere to be found. I have an idea to try, but I am right about to run out the door to go to work. I will post back sometime in the next 24 hours.
Looks like your motherboard and/or BIOS only supports hibernate. That is strange, if you had sleep or hybrid working before. You might check to see if there may be a newer BIOS version available for your motherboard that adds support for the S3 "Sleep" feature.
Okay, I tried two things: I installed a fresh copy of Windows on a new partition, and I updated my BIOS to the latest version. Still no Hybrid sleep. I am not going to stress any more about it; I have worked with enough 7 machines that I could easily be confused. I probably never had the option on my machine. Thanks for the help, though.
For anyone reading this thread, I have found a solution for me. I have a setting in my BIOS “Suspend to RAM”. It was previously disabled. I turned it to auto, and now I have Hybrid Sleep.
