    MDT sysprep Error

    Hi,

I have a HP Zbook G3 15. I am trying to take an image of the laptop using MDT & sysprep. After jigging about with the Task Sequence i finally got it to pass the windows phase of the Litetouch without any errors. However when it reboots to acutally dump the image to the server it fails with an error. Please see attached. I have managed to image our other machines and it just seems its the ZBook. Something peculiar.

Any help would be great. I have also the log file if anyone is interested. Though i have gone through it nad there are no errors.

    Welcome to the forum.
I didn't understand what and how you did.
You booted from a WinPe and made an image of the disk and saved to a network drive?

OK. I have MDT on Server 2012. I built a HP zbook laptop with all our software etc. I then go the deployment share/scripts and run the litetouch script to take an image. I have a task sequence in MDT which will "do" the image.

So in windows the litetouch script runs. Initally, it was bombing out and not completing. It looked like it was failing at the generlize bit. So after googling much, i added a variable in the task sequence to stop it doing that. This seemed to have fixed the issue as the script finished with no errors. It then rebooted and continued the process. It should then allow me to continue the imaging part. However, it fails with that error in the screen shot.

So im not sure what its doing or why its failing.
