Scheduled task runs but does nothing
I have a scheduled task - a simple xcopy /m /e /c /r /y which does nothing.
If I have some files with the archive bit set on, and run the command file manually it copies the correct files.
If I modify some files, to turn the archive bit on, then schedule the task to run in ten minutes, it ALWAYS says "0 files copied".
If I then run the command file manually it copies the correct files.
How can I troubleshoot this?
Here is the command file:-
xcopy f:\*.* \\desktop\dougnb\ /exclude:exclude.txt /m /e /c /r /y > \\desktop\dougnb\bup.log
f:\blat\blat \\desktop\dougnb\bup.log -to [REMOVED] -subject "My Backup Log" -server mail.westnet.com.au -f [REMOVED]
The blat line emails me the log.
The email always shows the log file.
