    Favorites in Explorer Broken

I don't know what I've done, but the Favorites section of Windows Explorer no longer displays my shortcuts underneath in the Navigation Pane. I now have to click on Favorites and view them in the Window Pane. The hierarchy arrow is visible until I click on Favorites, but then disappears as if there is nothing present.

Also, is it possible to include an icon for nVidia Control Panel of my desktop context menu?

    Hello VindicationX,

    Welcome to 7 Forums.

Right click on Favorites in the nav. pane and click on restore favorite links. You can also add other locations from that menu.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Gary, but I have already tried just that. This is truly the wierdest thing. I have really come to appreciate the new Explorer Navigation Pane in Win7 as it provides a much better streamlined way of working with the file system then previous versions of Windows. Thanks again.

    Hope this helps.

If you import your favs from backup. You may get it to work properly. Make sure you export everything to a flash or External HD first. Whenver trying something new, always backup

Edit: System Restore might work. System Image will do the trick.

i had this after using CC cleaner, I lost Favorites from explorer. When I right clicked on the explorer icon the list had gone and I could not add anything to it. Had to run a repair, never using CC cleaner again! i now use tuneup utilities 2010.

    Hello Vindication,

Does it show as empty? If so, this may help. It's the same in Windows 7 as Vista.
