Hello everyone!
I just installed Win7 Ultimate x64 today, upgrading from Vista x64 Home Premium. I was never a Vista hater (at least, after SP1), but it was a system resource hog, so, I chose to do the upgrade (hey, why not?), and so far, everything seems to be running quite smoothly!
I have run into three little quirks that I can't figure out how to set to my own personal preferences though, so I'm hoping you lovely people can point me in the right direction.
First, I cannot find an option NOT to group similar items in the task bar. It seems every time I open a new firefox window, it pops up next to the previous windows, and I prefer to be able to organize the items as I see fit. There was a simple "group similar items" or such box in Vista, but I can't seem to find that option in Win7. I have it set as "never combine" in the taskbar control panel.
Second, how do I disable the little preview window from popping up when I hover the mouse over one of those taskbar buttons?
And, finally, not sure what's it's called but in the navigation window to the right of open windows, where my links are located, is it possible to hide the Libraries/Homegroups/Computer/Network links? I'd prefer that pane simply show my chosen links.
Certainly just nitpicky things, but my name isn't Zoloft for nothing!
Thanks in advance, and I hope to make myself at home here, just like I did at the Vistax64 forum!
Russell
