Windows 7 search facility ==TOO QUICK !!!!

Hi all
I actually DO like the W7 search facility far better than the XP method -- but what I don't like is if I have search my computer and press say one letter S it starts searching BEFORE I have a chance to type the rest of the search or make a decent search query.

If You have a load of > 1TB drives plus a whole lot of network drives attached this can take a while to complete and return ZILLIONS of results.

It doesn't always stop by pressing the ESC key -- sometimes you have to do the ALT-CTRL-DEL trick which is a bit annoying.

Is there a way of making this search only work AFTER you've hit the enter key.

Cheers
jimbo

If you keep typing, it doesn't automatically update its search?
